It’s been nearly 5 years since we launched the Vendor Portal, our platform that connects Premium Vendors with retailers and we decided it was time for an overhaul and a facelift.
New Name, Same Focus
With these changes, we wanted vendors to see what their products look like on the web so they would be able to elevate and merchandise their products better. It’s one thing to provide product data for your retailers… it’s another to see what it looks like live on the web. Online shoppers often care about different things than in-store where they can handle the products, which is why we’ve taken it upon ourselves to work with our vendors to guide their efforts on better merchandising their products online.
Being a premium vendor on the Punchmark platform is all about serving our retailers so they can be the most successful versions of themselves. If our mutual retailers aren’t successful, none of us are. This is a partnership. We built this because vendors asked for it.
More & More
Along with a snappy new User Interface, this update also adds better support for the Vendor Marketing Library we rolled out a few months ago, where Premium Vendors can add brand and marketing imagery via the Vendor Vault for their subscribed retailers to use on their website. This is possible because the Vendor Vault platform & SiteManager for retailers are both built to be tightly integrated with each other. This is just one of the ways Punchmark’s vendor program is leading the way to stronger jewelry vendor & retailer partnerships.
This also unlocks greater dropshipping capabilities which we have already begun rolling out to select retailers. Dropshipping is something everyone has been asking for, and it takes buy-in from both vendors and retailers to make it happen.
