The user flow for each jewelry build is slightly different, offering, for example, the choice of ring design and center stone when designing an Engagement Ring, or the opportunity to describe the piece of jewelry purely through words, or to upload images or links of inspiration.

The goal with this wizard is to provide an engaging entry point to collect promising leads, with a focus on information gathering rather than solution providing. This allows retailers who employ the Custom Design Wizard to follow up with a more tailored approach, or with future retargeting offers based on the answers provided by the customer.

And while making it, we quickly realized that folks were going to want to customize their version. So we made the whole experience generate based on a set of data, instead of hand coding it.
