Punchmark is excited to announce the hiring of Gary Cunningham as the newest member of the Punchmark Customer Success team. He will be the point of contact for a segment of the clientbase.
Originally from the snowiest city in America, Gary graduated from RIT with a degree in Information Technology before finding his way to North Carolina and to Punchmark. When he isn’t working, Gary enjoys exercising, following his favorite TV series on Netflix, and spending time with his family.
Michael Burpoe, Director of User Experience at Punchmark, spoke with Gary to learn more.
------------------------------------------------
Michael Burpoe: Hey Gary! Where are you joining this conversation from?
Gary Cunningham: I was born in Buffalo, New York. Lived in Rochester for years and then moved back to Buffalo for a year before making my way to NC
MB: Another RIT grad added to our ranks! Go Tigers! Joining me, Dan, and Sarah.
GC: Yes, it was a really great school!
MB: And what will you be doing for Punchmark?
GC: I'm a Technical Support Administrator. I'm responsible for assisting clients with their Edge integration, using Sitemanager, and updating their payment information for billing. I answer any questions they may have regarding their website
MB:That's great! Do you feel like you are getting the hang of the Punchmark products yet? Do you have a favorite tool?
GC: While there's definitely more for me to learn, I feel that I'm grasping things at a steady rate and hope to continue my growth here. One neat tool that I've been using is Chrome's Developer Tools. It helps me find CSS classes of elements on a web page
MB:That's pretty cool! Yeah, there's a ton to learn. I still don't even know everything yet!!
Outside of work, do you have any hobbies or activities you enjoy doing?
GC: Recently I've gotten back into working out. I'm looking to not only get back in shape but incorporate exercising into my daily life, as it's beneficial for both the mind and body. Besides that, I enjoy spending time with family and watching my favorite shows such as Supernatural and The Boys (recently got into that one and I'm hooked!)
MB: Man I heard that those two are really good. But way too intense for me, I like junk where I can just turn my brain off.
Finally Gary, we love to leave the readers with a song recommendation that I'll embed at the end of this blog post. Which song would you like me to add?
GC: Kansas - Carry On Wayward Son
MB: Can do! Thanks Gary! Excited to have you on board!
GC: I appreciate it, Mike! Very happy to be a part of the Punchmark family
