How perfect is your website? Here is a list of optional pre and post launch improvements that can be used to boost your website. Some are easy, some are more difficult, some require Punchmark Team Member help, or additional costs. Check off which improvements you've already done and see your score!

Products

  • All products have been photographed on a white background
  • Owns the GemLightbox (and uses it regularly for new products)
  • Integrates in-store product catalog (such as The Edge) with the website
  • Contains category banners for all primary categories
  • Contains brand banners for all brands that have products tagged to them
  • Features 1-2 curated categories, such as "Gifts for Her" or "Mother's Day Gift Ideas"

Digital Marketing

  • Includes updated metadata for all important pages of the site
  • Image optimization, including naming convention of the file and alt tags
  • Posts actively on Instagram
  • Posts actively on Facebook
  • Implements pay-per-click ads or other paid SEM to drive traffic
  • Includes above & below grid keyword optimized content for better SEO, including headers and internal links (can be implemented through HTML)
  • Publishes a blog at least monthly
  • Has connected a Product Catalog to Facebook
  • Facebook & instagram shop
  • Dynamic retargeting ads

Design

  • Regularly updates the homepage photos
  • Regularly updates the homepage banner to direct traffic
  • The store’s branding is effective and unique
  • All photos match in tone and aesthetic
  • Has had a photoshoot with jewelry on a model

User Experience

  • Has product landing pages for all major categories
  • Has a homepage widget for 3 main business aspects
  • Has a Mega-Menu for major navigation links

Online Shopping

  • Has e-commerce turned on
  • Shipping options have been set up
  • Includes a shipping & returns policy
  • Has PayPal available as payment method
  • Has financing options available through Sezzle
  • Website has fraud protection through clear.sale
  • Has at least 1 coupon code for promotions

Miscellaneous

  • Has an in-depth About Us page
  • Has an interior and exterior photo of store featured on website
  • Has staff headshots and bios added to website
  • Lists all jewelry services available, and a brief description of each

Administrative

  • Is a member of the Punchmark Community Facebook group
  • Created administrator accounts for other staff members to use
  • Attends Punchmark’s weekly Livestreams
