Below is the list of fields for Punchmark’s advanced CSV product template. Only fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. You will notice that certain fields will not apply for a particular piece, so these fields can be ignored. Some fields require exact matches to Punchmark’s standard classifications, such as metal type, diamond clarity, etc. If you are uncertain about possible values of a specific field, please contact Punchmark.
This corresponds to the main type of product, such as ring, pendant, bracelet, etc. Please enter the most descriptive version of the product type. Some examples of descriptive item types are engagement ring, wedding band, diamond necklace, men’s ring, gemstone pendant, or pearl strand bracelet. This field will be matched against a standard item type. If there is no match, you can map your item type to a standard item type.
SKU / STYLE*
Each item will need its own unique style number. This field is used as a unique key for updating your product details, and to provide a point of reference for product inquiries and orders. If you have variations of products, these will each need their own style number.
This field is not required, but every item should have a gender, whether it's women’s, men’s, or unisex.
If you do not have a title, then the SKU will be used. This will also act as your meta title if you do not set a unique meta title. The item title is very important for SEO purposes, and should be brief, such as “Silver Amethyst Bracelet” or even “14K white gold diamond engagement ring”.
Your cost is never shown to the public. This is multiplied by each retailer’s markup in order to derive their retail price.
This field is generally used for reference in case a retailer needs it to help them decide what markup to use.
This field should contain as much information about your product as possible, as this is shown to the consumer, and this is what conveys trust about a given piece. An example could be “This stunning two-tone diamond engagement ring features a yellow gold cathedral setting atop a white gold shank for that balance between traditional and modern. This ring can accommodate a center stone between 0.50 and 4.00 carats, which is not included. Features .22 carats of graduated round diamonds along the sides. Matching wedding band available.”
If this field matches the name of an installed brand on your website, this product will be tagged as that brand.
BASE SKU / VENDOR STYLE #
Entering a base SKU will allow you to create variations of a given piece, as long as specific style numbers are used for each variation. For example, an engagement ring “ER-1234” might be the base SKU of two variations, ER-1234-14KW and ER-1234-14KY, available in 14K white and 14K yellow gold, respectively. These additional variations are to be added as separate rows in the CSV file. This field is only required if you wish to have variations for a given piece.
This field represents the amount of days it will take to ship your product to the customer. For example, if you enter "0" your item will ship today, and "1" means it will ship tomorrow. You can also enter a range, such as “3-5” which would represent 3-5 business days. This field is important, as it helps the retailers automatically calculate the days it will be available to a consumer when an item is added to their shopping cart. Retailers create set up their own default availability per each vendor, and if you do not allow drop shipping, the retailer’s value will override any availability you set in this field.
This must match one of the existing categories on your website for the product to be visible on your website.
If there are additional categories in which you would like your product to appear, enter these categories separated by commas. These categories cannot be the same as your primary category.
IMAGE / VIDEO 1*
This field must match the exact file name of one of the images (or videos) you will be importing. You can also add the full URL of an image, and our scripts will download the image and resize it accordingly. If your images are named by style number, it is suggested to create a field in excel that uses the adjacent style number field, and then appends “.jpg”, or “.png” to the end.

METAL TYPE / MATERIAL
Enter the metal type or abbreviation for the metal type(s) of this piece. These can be entered as combinations; for example “14KWYR” means 14K white, yellow, and rose gold. You can enter the long version or the abbreviated value, and if it is not matched to our system, we can map this field to one of our standard metal types or groups.
If your product is a ring setting, indicate "1" in this field, which makes it so it can be included in the Bridal Ring Designer on retailers’ websites, where engagement rings can be matched with diamonds.
Enter the type of setting here. Possible setting values are prong, baguette, threestone, bezel, halfbezel, tension, channelend, channel, pave, halo, burnished, sharedprong, bead, bar, invisible, antique, bypass, multirow, singlerow, solitaire, sidestone, fivestone, or cluster.
If this is a setting, entering the range of possible diamond shapes separated by commas will help customers find matching diamonds. This field is required if you would like an item featured in the Bridal Ring Designer.
If this piece is only available in one ring size, you can enter it in this field. Otherwise, you can list all available ring sizes for this item, separated by commas (e.g. "6,6.5,7,7.5,8.8,5,9"). When there are multiple ring sizes, consumers will must choose one option before adding it to their shopping cart. If there is a different cost for each ring size, these can be set up in standard JSON data format. Please contact Punchmark for an example of this JSON format.

Enter a “1” if the common diamonds in this piece are lab grown.

The number of diamonds in your piece of jewelry, including the center diamond.

The total carat weight, including the center diamond.
LOW CARAT RANGE
The lowest carat weight that can fit in this setting. This field is required if you would like an item featured in the Bridal Ring Designer.
