Expert Website Package

Punchmark's top-of-the-line website package is your choice if you're looking to make a splash and sell a lot of jewelry online. Our strategy includes working closely with our Digital Marketing and Creative teams in order to map out the best way to achieve your specific business goals in the most effective and beautiful way possible.

The Process

After signup, you will be contacted by your project manager for a kickoff call to get oriented with your project, and to discuss your schedule of meetings that will take place so our team can collect the information that will be fueling your project. Several of these meetings will include both the Creative and Digital Marketing teams so we can minimize the back-and-forth and maximize the results. Once all your information is gathered, our Creative Team will begin working on an initial design based on the strategy put forth by the Digital Marketing team. Your project manager will be your point of contact throughout this process, ensuring your project stays on track.

Project Kickoff

The first order of business is to meet your project manager so that you can get a high-level view of your project and discuss a schedule for completing the essential tasks in order to get your website project online before your desired launch date.

Creative Strategy Assessment

The “CSA” is a short questionnaire that will provide the Creative Team with the foundational idea of how your dream website should look and function. This questionnaire can be completed collaboratively via Zoom or independently via email if preferred.

Digital Marketing Audit

Our Digital Marketing Team will investigate your current online footprint and compare this with the goals listed in your CSA, then meet with you about how we might go about achieving your goals and spending your marketing credits wisely.

Initial Design Review

You will meet with the Creative Team to discuss the initial design and let them know what you like and what you don't like, then come to a consensus on what changes need to be made to the styling of your website's global elements.

Content Strategy

The Digital Marketing team will use the information gathered to determine the most effective content needed for the website to be successful. This strategy will be executed by a combination of creative team members and digital marketers in order to drive results.

Product Catalog Setup

One of the most time-consuming aspects of an e-commerce website is cultivating a catalog. We have several ways to facilitate it; some automated, some manual. Your project manager will work with you to determine the best solution for your business.

Coding & Implementation

Our codebase is a blend of PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript/jQuery, built upon a Bootstrap foundation. Our framework is intended to be easily indexed by search engines and loaded asynchronously to maximize page speed and user experience.

Quality Control

Once your website is “completed”, our Customer Success Team will run a series of quality control checks to ensure we've crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's. Extra eyes on your project help to make sure your coded design is launch-worthy.

Launch

As soon as you are ready to go live, we will schedule your launch date, finalize your project, and introduce you to the post-launch team, who will be your source for ongoing support through our ticketing system or for SiteManager advice and training.

Deliverables

These are the major aspects of the website that is being created to fit your needs. While you get a lot more than what is listed here, it is important to highlight the most common and time-intensive customizations of the project.

Custom Global Elements

On every page of your website, you have some universal elements (the header, search / tools, main navigation and the footer) that make up arguably the most critical part of your website's design and user experience, especially since these elements are repeated on every page.

Homepage Layout

Because it's the most important page on your website, we design every homepage completely from scratch. We start with the raw wireframes, and then translate them into beautiful layouts that exemplify the original concept and vision and will best represent your goals.

Site Map

While your global elements and homepage are extremely important, they are merely the grand theatre environment where we present the rest of your story, images, news, products, services, and contact information. A site map will be presented to you based on your digital marketing evaluation and proposed needs.

Content Strategy

Our team of creative and marketing professionals will utilize the approved design, site map and information gathered so that we have a guide with which your content will be created, ensuring your website speaks in your voice both verbally and aesthetically.

Search Optimization

No matter what your marketing goals are, Punchmark wants to help you reach your bottom line. We use modern techniques backed by industry best practices to increase your keyword rankings and drive traffic to your site over time and sustain it long-term.

Navigation Organization

Your navigation is a delicate balance between providing enough options while also keeping things simple enough to do on a mobile device. From mega-menus to mobile-friendly dropdowns, we will help to organize the most impactful parts of the website and ensure we don't leave out any key aspects.

Onboarding & Setup

There are a series of configurations and settings that will be saved based on your preferences to ensure your account is set up uniquely for you. From the brands you decide to feature to the type of online payment gateways you want to provide, we will walk you through each one step by step.

Content Implementation

Outside of your traffic-driving pages and your product and services pages, there is also a multitude of preconfigured pages such as custom jewelry forms, email subscription forms, jewelry education pages, and more. We will ensure that you are not missing out on all the content that can be installed.

Expectations

We try to minimize the amount of meetings and items needed from you in order to launch the website; however, there are some tasks that fall under your responsibility. Below is a list of some of the most common points of input needed by you in order to keep your project on track.

Meetings

A series of meetings will be scheduled with you and your project manager in addition to various team members from the creative and marketing departments.

Submit Branding Files

We will need your store's logo file in order to begin, preferably in vector format (SVG/EPS/AI/PDF). Punchmark also has branding services available, should you want to take your store's image to the next level.

Submit Store Imagery

All store images on the website will need to be uploaded or submitted to our team, as well as any other photography, staff images, or videos.

Creative Strategy Assessment

You will fill out a brief questionnaire that helps us to determine the biggest differentiators between you and your competitors.

Choose Product Plan

Discuss with your project manager if you will be integrating your point-of-sale system, subscribing to Premium Brand products, or uploading your own product data.

Submit Custom Jewelry Images

Submit your portfolio of custom work, sketches and/or renderings so that we can incorporate them appropriately.

DNS Information

Supply the credentials for your domain registrar so that we may point your domain name at your new website safely and avoid interruptions.

Payment Gateway

Share your merchant gateway credentials with your project manager so that we can activate and test your checkout system and e-commerce account prior to launch.
